Northern Rovers – 9th & 10th Grade Festival
This tournament consists of group play, with approximately 3 to 4 games, then proceeds to a knockout stage. The knockout stages, allow for “Gold” and “Silver” playoffs, ensuring all teams make it through to knockout stages and playing at least 2 to 3 games in this stage.
Each game will run between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on tournament size. All teams entered will play a minimum of 5 games.
Teams will have fun, exciting and competitive games throughout the day with all kids playing for something towards the latter part of the day. Some of the best teams from all over Auckland are invited to test their footballing skills and teamwork.
Food, drinks and fun activities are on offer and all participants are encouraged to bring gazebos, BBQs and food to enhance the experience of the full day football festival. Each day ends with a short prizegiving, where MVP, Golden Boot, Golden Glove and festival winners receive trophies, medals and prizes.
