This tournament consists of group play on day one, with approximately 3 to 4 games, then proceeds to a knockout stage on day two.
The knockout stages, allow for “Gold” and “Silver” playoffs, ensuring all teams make it through to knockout stages and playing at least 2 to 3 games in this stage. Each game will run between 30 and 40 minutes, depending on tournament size. All teams entered will play a minimum of 5 games.
Teams will have fun, exciting and competitive games throughout the two days with all kids playing for something towards the latter part of the day.
Some of the best teams from all over the North Island are invited to test their footballing skills and teamwork.
Food, drinks and fun activities are on offer and all participants are encouraged to bring gazebos, BBQs and food to enhance the experience of the full football festival. The final day ends with a short prizegiving, where MVP, Golden Boot, Golden Glove and festival winners receive trophies, medals and prizes.
